It is prepared with roundly cut onion slices dipped in the batter of flour, baking powder, eggs, water, salt, and black pepper and then deep fried in hot oil till deep brown. Ingredients

  1. Onions 4
  2. Plain Flour 1-1/2 cup
  3. Baking powder 1 tsp
  4. Egg 1-2
  5. Water as required
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Black pepper to taste

Method
  • • Cut onions in ring shape
  • • Combine flour, salt, baking powder, black pepper.
  • • Whisk some water and egg together.
  • • Add the egg to the flour mixture and make a thick batter adding little water slowly.
  • • Dip onion rings in batter and deep fry till golden brown.
  • • Serve hot with ketchup.
